holy week...
so in my reflections of holy week...i had an amazing reminder of an attribute of God.
God has reveled a true act of selflessness in our life this week. as we are drawing closer in reflection and meditation, God choose to bless us. not because we are "faithful" but because he is good. i am overwhelmed by my selfishness, and amazed at his goodness.
now blessings come in all shape and sizes, but here are just a few of the "highlights" of our week.
(in no particular order)
- we went to austin (fabulous town) and saw...
rocked my world.
- nathan came and had dinner with us! we had such a great time with him...it is always great to see people you love.
- i was offered a job for next year! i will be teaching 2nd grade. it's very exciting.
(sub point) -i was given a raise
- we booked tickets for some summer traveling. we will be in california for almost 2 weeks around my birthday!
(sub point) - we are going to disney...and just booked the grand californian with matt and allie.
- i found an amazing mac bag on ebay. and jasen let me buy it.
- i received my teaching certification in the mail! it's done!
we didn't have to receive these blessings, but yet we did. in a time where we draw more on him, he is given more to us.
