glenn has learned the back and side stroke. he's pretty good and fast at it too.

olivia however...she's just getting fat. she has the fish version of a bubble butt...if you know what i mean.

she shoots evil glances with her oversized eye sockets at glenn in rebuttal of her laziness.

i think she is jealous. you know how girls get when someone is skinner than them...

so today i actually saw glenn shove her...and i laughed. cause olivia just got bitched slapped.

so i owe her an apology...

i never knew what true love was until i met the most amazing man in the world. i lived in a clouded depiction of love...but never saw its value...its importance. i had heard it one time before...and if that was what love was...i wanted no part of it. love=hurt. no thank you.

but i have been won over...to say the least.

then there is jasen who loves me more than i can understand. he loves the camp amanda...the morning amanda...the teacher amanda and the bipolar amanda. and i truly believe he makes no distinction.

many of times since i started my online diary have i wanted to just type and type of what i feel and how i love this man. but i am aware everyone reads this...and no one really cares...even though i am the acting president to the jasen ashdown fan club.

i am sorry i may have dishearted you. i should encourage you and support you to fight for love and what you believe in. cause i do. and even though jasen isn't away often...may heart craves for his return...so i can't imagine that constant drowning and ache. i hurt for you...but i must say...you are doing the best with what you have been delt. and i commend you for it.

jasen and i are so encouraged by your and jeff's relationship. long distance relationships suck. no way around it. but you two are fighting for it...and it is again commendable to see the lengths and efforts you have brought forth to make it work. so if i can encourage and strengthen you in anyway...i will.

so what a day...here is a short glimpse into what was seemingly one of the best days i have experienced in a while...

well needed after a high maintenance type week...

* i was able to wear my imitation ugg boots because rain was in the forecast.

* but...first and for most...my baby flew home to me this morning. i would wake up a million times over if i could be reunited with the man i love. i missed him tremendously...welcome home sweetness... i love him more than a root canal...

anyway... hopefully you all are still reading and not experiencing dry heaves by now...

* i went to panera (one of my favorite places to eat) for breakfast with jase...yummy...carbs. my butt is still thanking me for that.

* pier one, and target were on the to-do-list and i found my snazy pumpkin lantern at hallmark. (this is a big deal in amanda world)

* i was able to meet a man who is a staple in jase's life...and now i am honored to know someone who helped him through a rough time in his life. thanks chris...the check is in the mail.

* nikki came over and we went to south county united... it was awesome to see stace, jeff and chuckles. then i was able to play with stace's new slider phone which i will soon have for my very own.

* jase let nikki and i have some fun "treats"...which we went back to my place and shared.

* we lit all our candles...placed them on my ledge and sat outside until it began to rain.

* it has ended with a little "best of jimmy fallon" on snl.

holy sh*t. what a day.

so my short glimpse into the multi million dollar life style is gone. the fridge has been removed. it was a good run. now we are on to more simpler things...such as a way smaller blah white one.

big news! new cell number this weekend. unless all you computer hackers(ben...jeff...jase...) give the thumbs up to post it on here...i guess the easiest way would be for me to email the new digits. so i'll need email addresses? man what a hassle it is. so sorry stacey...now you can't call me locally any more. wait...what? see you sacramento.

this...) only now do i wish i was in Missouri. urgh...

as for the experiential field trip... best news...the oak glenn area is free! there are shops and restaurants...but there is no actual entrance cost. a fellow teacher is looking up further information for me...but all we need to do is pick a date. my vote is when it is brisk and cool enough to wear a scarf. yes please.

so lets pick one.

and of course its a couple thing...uh... so that would suggest jasen and i would be going alone. L-A-M-E. it's for everyone!

this post is to all who enjoy autumn as much as i, and yet again are disappointed about california's lame attempt for one...read away and i hope the aroma of fall fills deep into your lungs and you exhale a beautiful scent of fall in the air...

some helpful hints to bring fall into your life...(by manipulating your atmosphere)

man i should write for ladies home journal...

mulled cider candles...a walmart special. right now you can get a 2 20 oz jars plus 4 votives for $10. they aren't exactly a yankee but seriously you get way more then you pay for. if these flavor doesn't suit you...then there are an array of different aromas to your liking. i urge you to check it out. you also may just purchase them individualy.

(helpful hint...let it burn for an extended period...they tend to burn more evenly...)

fall reminders. it may be girlie...but seriously by yourself a pumpkin.

wear a scarf...i will show you how to wear it euro style if you want...

check out the pumpkin spice chi at borders (it will make you tingle with yummy goodness) or get a pumpkin spice frapachino from starbucks...if you are local...ben makes an amaing one! (thanks ben!) it will knock your freaking socks off. i promise you.

a field trip...let me know if you are interested...this place is located by pondo...and before you judge it...note it is a manipulated environment where fall is emanate...so lets go!...i promise no colonial costumes will be needed. it would be a blast for us all. jeff...when is stace in town? we should all go then. humor me. if you are interested...let me know...i'll get all the leg work taken care of.

so my fish kicks ass...and allie's fish (olivia) kicks his. but as humans, i have discovered glenn also starves for attention. .. or at least a plan of escape.

i was cleaning the fish bowl the other night and i placed glenn and olivia into separate bowls (like in any relationship...they need their space) so glenn started swimming around then floated sideways on the top of the water. startled, i yelled his name "glenn...glenn!" but i am sure it sounded like "wruppp...wurppp" ( i am still unclear on how to speak through the water barrier). but i think something aroused his attention because he immediately started swimming around. then instantaneously he repeated his behavior! so i poked him with my finger and gave him (what i like to call) and fishy spanking.

i believe this may be his subtle attempt to save him from the black nazi fish. bitch.

so we can all learn a lesson...you may not like someone very much...but at least you are not stuck with them in a 2 gallon fish bowl.
